So Enjoyable Reviews Philips HF3470 Natural Wake-up Light
For the past 5 or 7 days I have woken up to daylight in my bedroom. The Philips Hf3470 Wake-up Light starts out, much like the sun, a burning orange - like an early
sunrise - and eventually fills the room with a bright white light.
Living in New England, it is even harder to get up in the morning when
winter hits. The waking up in darkness, leaving work in darkness
schedule, with the added loveliness of snow does not make me anymore
ready to go face the day with cheerfulness and enthusiasm. It
is set at its highest setting - I have found that works best for me as I
am very stubborn in the morning and do not want to get out of bed.

Excellent tool for fighting depression 10,000 LUX of Natural Spectrum Daylight Verilux HappyLite Deluxe
I used this 10,000 LUX of Natural Spectrum Daylight Verilux HappyLite Deluxe daily for a year and a half. I have a history of
depression and my therapist had recommended that I look into getting a
light for light therapy. This one has done extremely well.
I finally realized a pattern in my mood change during the winter months. I use it for 45 minutes while I am getting ready for work every morning
and what a difference it has made! My daughters call this "the year of
the light". I am so much happier and feel able to cope. I really
enjoyed the holidays this 2013.

Reviews Lightphoria 10,000LUX Energy Light Lamp
I absolutely love this Lightphoria 10,000LUX Energy Light Lamp! It's not that big - around the size of an ipad mini but gosh the light is bright! You're not suppose to stare directly into the light and from the stimulation in your eye balls (in some miraculous way), it makes you less sleepy... like opening the curtains in the morning to let the light in.
With fall coming and me taking so much medication that even the smell of alcohol is enough to make me woozy, my psychiatrist suggested I consider light therapy to deal with some of the blah and my night owl tendencies. The lightphoria is a solidly constructed piece and attractive to be placed anywhere at home. It doesn't have any fancy digital displays or flashy buttons.

Reviews Philips HF3520 Wake-Up Light With Colored Sunrise Simulation, White
This Philips HF3520 Wake-Up Light With Colored Sunrise Simulation is a well thought out product. It takes some experimenting with the settings to get it set to be ideal
for how you want to be woken up, but it works very, very well once you
figure out what works for you and there's more than enough customizable
settings to do the job.
This one actually LOOKS like a sunrise. The radio and birdsongs can be turned off for a silent, light-only
alarm. The light begins to glow before the actual alarm time so that is
fully bright at alarm time. The light turns off by itself after about an
hour after the alarm goes off, giving me time to get ready in the
morning.
Reviews Uplift Technologies DL930 Day-Light 10,000 Lux SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) Lamp
I use this Uplift Technologies DL930 Day-Light 10,000 Lux whenever I feel a little bummed out, especially on rainy
days. If you have SAD, regular depression or even just general winter
blues, give this lamp a try. It may seem a little pricy or even "new
age-y," but the science behind it just makes good sense, and the price
is extremely reasonable compared to other models out there.
White light does not contain UVA or UVB rays, and has been used in
hospitals to combat depression for almost 20 years. It helps in about
50% of cases of Seasonal Affective Disorder. Improved mood-yes, decreased cravings for carbs.-yes, my body thinks
it's sunny all the time in Seattle-yes. It was worth every penny.
Bright, convenient size, great light! Reviews Lightphoria Euphoric Energy Light System
I've used a much bigger SAD light that I borrowed from my friend and
this is a much more compact version of that. This Lightphoria Euphoric Energy Light System is like a travel
version that will fit into a handcarry bag easily. I was expecting this
unit to be less effecient, but 30 minutes a day gives me the daily light
dosage I need on this little unit.
This Lightphoria Euphoric Energy Light System product has several settings so you can slowly adjust to it, it
actually does what it is supposed to do which is to simulate sunlight. I
can finally stay awake for long periods of time after using this item
for a few weeks.

You Light up my Life! Reviews Verilux HappyLite Deluxe Sunshine Simulator
This Verilux HappyLite Deluxe Sunshine Simulator light works wonderfully for me in small doses - about 15 to 20
minutes at a time, once or twice a day. The day the light arrived I
used it for an hour and I felt like I had just consumed 10 cups of
coffee - a little too much for me. It definitely works as a pick-me-up.
I've made the mistake a few times of skipping my morning Sunshine Simulator light session
and I can always tell by evening - but the next day, after using the
lamp, I'm back to normal. I've been dealing with SAD for years and put
off buying a lamp, but they are worth every penny.
